Danhausen is riding a real rollercoaster of emotions in WWE. After a rocky debut on February 28 at Elimination Chamber, the wrestler is now a legitimate merchandise sales phenomenon.

Danhausen had a hilarious appearance at WrestleMania 42, starring in a segment alongside John Cena, The Miz, Kit Wilson, and the charismatic “Minihausens”.

Not only that, despite having only one match so far in WWE — a win over Wilson on an episode of Friday Night SmackDown — Danhausen has been a constant presence on the company’s weekly programming.

According to WrestleVotes Radio, Danhausen was one of the top merchandise sellers during Showcase of the Immortals week. Apparently, Fanatics, WWE’s business partner, had to restock his products multiple times.

“Fanatics was blown away by the reception and revenue generated by Danhausen this weekend. Several restocks were required due to the high demand of his products.”

It’s worth noting that the WrestleMania 42 segment went through several changes, as the original plans were for something much simpler than what aired. However, Danhausen reportedly pushed for John Cena and The Miz to be involved in writing the script, which generated new ideas and shaped the final version seen at the event.
