Roman Reigns Challenged by Oba Femi Right After WWE WrestleMania 42

Roman Reigns captured the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of night two of WrestleMania 42 and, by all indications, he already has a challenger on the horizon.

During the post-show for the Showcase of Immortals, the crowd started chanting, “Oba is gonna kill you!” while Oba Femi was giving his speech, which led the Nigerian star to call out the OTC.

Later, on the same panel, it was Reigns’ turn to send a message to “The Ruler”:

“Oba, you’re gonna kill me? You still look kind of new to this business. You did something big tonight, but I’ve done that many times, and I did it with a title on the line. I won it, I defended it. We’ll see how you do over the summer, and then we’ll see if you’re on the level to face the greatest of all time.”

Reigns acknowledged Femi’s accomplishment, but made it clear that one big win does not immediately put him on his level.

It’s worth noting that, during a recent appearance on ESPN’s First Take, Reigns named Femi as one of the young talents he would like to face in the future.
