WWE Reveals Major WrestleMania 42 Announcement

WWE announces which matches will be part of the first and second nights of the Showcase of Immortals.

WWE made an important announcement for WrestleMania 42, an event that will take place on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

During ESPN’s Get Up, WWE SmackDown commentator Joe Tessitore revealed the matches that will be part of the first and second nights of the biggest sports entertainment event of 2026.

One interesting point to note is that CM Punk and Roman Reigns will close the second night of the premium live event, while Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton will close the first. As a result, this will be another edition of WrestleMania where a women’s match will not be the main event.
