WWE already appears to have major plans set for after WrestleMania 42, an event that will take place on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

WWE NXT, which is in full swing and has already held Stand & Deliver, seems close to undergoing major changes.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has already decided that several top stars from its developmental brand will be promoted to the main roster after the Showcase of Immortals.

“Much of the discussion in NXT right now revolves around possible promotions after WrestleMania. The victories by Vice and D’Angelo seem to have removed their names from that discussion. Page, Saints, Monroe, and Jayne are being heavily talked about, and Sol Ruca made a very positive impression at Saturday Night’s Main Event.”

Another major name is Joe Hendry, who recently lost the NXT Championship, paving the way for his promotion.

“Hendry is practically ready to move up, because the longer this takes, the further he gets from the peak of popularity he had in 2024, in addition to already being 37 years old. If he is not promoted, it indicates there is not full confidence that his character will work on the main stage right now, even with a style full of audience interaction, something different that usually works on the main roster, even if it is not a main-event profile.”

It is worth remembering that, in January, several NXT promotions were made to the main roster, with names such as Je’Von Evans and Jordynne Grace, among others, joining RAW and SmackDown.
