A large portion of WWE fans took to the internet in outrage following the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, calling for Triple H’s immediate dismissal.
The backlash came after Sami Zayn once again defeated Carmelo Hayes last night, retaining the WWE United States Championship and securing his match against Trick Williams at WrestleMania 42.
On social media, numerous posts targeted Triple H, with fans labeling WWE’s booking as a “joke.” Much of the criticism also centered around Carmelo Hayes being left off the WrestleMania 42 card, despite his strong run as champion.

It’s worth noting that the video of Zayn’s title-winning victory over Hayes from the previous week received a high number of dislikes.
Following last night’s loss and an apparent knee “injury,” Hayes now appears likely to miss WrestleMania 42.
At least in the WWE United States Championship picture, the focus is expected to remain on Zayn and Williams, especially considering recent developments.
