WWE’s women’s tag team division is on the rise and could be next in line to secure a spot at WrestleMania 42 with a major championship match.
According to Bodyslam.net, the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Irresistible Forces (Lash Legend and Nia Jax), are expected to defend their titles against Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) at the Showcase of the Immortals in a Fatal 4-Way Match.
On the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, The Bella Twins’ title match against Legend and Jax was interrupted by Flair and Bliss as payback for a similar incident the week before.
On next Monday’s episode of RAW, live from Madison Square Garden, Legend and Jax will once again put their titles on the line, this time against Bayley and Valkyria.
It is expected that another interference, similar to what occurred on the last two episodes of Friday Night SmackDown, will take place, leading to the Fatal 4-Way Match being set for WrestleMania 42.
Legend and Jax won the titles on the February 27 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, just ahead of Elimination Chamber, defeating the then-champions Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY.
