WWE has just confirmed a last-minute change for tonight’s SmackDown, taking place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
According to the company’s official website, Tama Tonga will face Ilja Dragunov. The match was scheduled following their confrontation last week, when both competitors were involved in a major tag team bout.
WWE shared the following post on Twitter/X to make the match official.

In addition to the newly announced clash between Tama Tonga and Ilja Dragunov, SmackDown had already confirmed Carmelo Hayes vs. Damian Priest vs. Trick Williams, with the winner earning the final spot in the Elimination Chamber.
Another highlight is the women’s qualifying match featuring Charlotte Flair vs. Nia Jax vs. Kiana James. Finally, it has also been confirmed that Oba Femi will take on Kit Wilson.
Tonight’s event will not air on USA Network as usual due to the Winter Olympics, but viewers will be able to watch the show on Syfy.
