Saraya (Paige) has been absent from the ring for more than a year, having had her last match for AEW in 2024. Since then, many speculations pointed to her going to WWE, possibly making a return at last year’s Evolution or even at this year’s Royal Rumble, which obviously never happened.
Despite staying away from the ring, Saraya spoke again about how much she misses competing and that she hopes it will happen at some point. However, she made it clear that she will only return if everything aligns, seeking something better than in previous times.
During an appearance on MuscleManMalcolm, Saraya commented the following:
“I’m just trying to get my lick back, you know what I mean? I miss wrestling. I loss my passion for it for a second. I told people months ago I was getting back in the ring in January and I did just that. I’m having such a great time. I said that if I was to ever come back to wrestling, I’ll be better than I was before. NXT Paige.”
Paige’s last match in WWE took place on December 27, 2017, during a house show. However, she made some appearances in the following years, such as, for example, her role as General Manager in 2018 and other roles in 2019. She then left WWE shortly afterward.
