The trajectory of Wyatt Sicks in WWE has sparked considerable debate, especially following recent comments made by Rikishi on the Off The Top podcast.

The group, led by Uncle Howdy, officially debuted in WWE in 2024 and is currently involved in a confusing and lackluster rivalry with Solo Sikoa and MFT on SmackDown.

Although Wyatt Sicks has already captured the WWE Tag Team Championship, the Hall of Famer believes the company missed the right moment to make the faction truly compelling.

Rikishi highlighted the emotional weight that Bo Dallas carried at the very beginning of the stable, following the death of his brother, Bray Wyatt, as he stepped in to carry on his legacy. The veteran explained how that personal connection could have led to something truly unique, but ultimately wasn’t explored the right way:

Rikishi stated:

“I just felt from the start – you know, after the brother [died], we all gathered together to really kind of hold onto that memory of Bray Wyatt. When we saw the brother, Bo, come in to carry on that same character and so forth, we were so happy. It was so personal to a lot of the wrestling fans because we all love Bray Wyatt … and you can imagine the pressure on his brother.”

While acknowledging Dallas’ in-ring talent, Rikishi suggests that a lack of creative support may have ultimately hurt the group.

“I feel that maybe the WWE team dropped the ball on him… was it personal? Or did they just give up on Bo’s team?”

The rivalry between Wyatt Sicks and MFT continues on SmackDown, but WWE’s future plans for those involved remain unknown.
