Kevin Nash is being the target of several criticisms after making comments about Je’Von Evans that were labeled by fans as racist. The statement was made on the latest edition of his podcast, Kliq This.
The legendary wrestler even praised the RAW star, but used terms that many interpreted as insensitive and racist in nature.
Nash said the following on his podcast:
“He’s an incredible athlete. He’s a little bit too Mr. Bojangles for me, I wish he was a little bit more urban.”
Nash went on to say that Evans needs to be more aggressive, and a bit more urban:
“I just want him to have a little bit of an edge. He can strike, he throws a good punch. Take two or three together. Something where you tell me, ‘if this sh*t was real, all this athleticism I have, I can use’.”
It is worth remembering that Evans has gone through similar situations before, such as when Kevin Scampoli, a podcaster, used racist words when referring to the wrestler.
