Goldberg, one of the biggest names in pro wrestling history with notable runs in WWE, stated at a recent event that he feels he is not respected by the company.
Goldberg had his final match with the company in July 2025, when he was defeated by Gunther in a match for the World Heavyweight Championship.
One moment that stood out negatively during Goldberg’s farewell was when the broadcast was cut immediately after his loss, just as he was about to deliver a final speech.
At a recent fan event, Goldberg was asked about what happened last year, and responded as follows:
“Yeah. What do you think that did for me? It made me really happy. That just shows the level of disrespect they have for me.”
Two fans in particular called Triple H an idiot, claiming he was responsible for cutting the broadcast. Goldberg responded:
“Absolutely. I’m not worried about anything. They could have shown a little more respect.”
Despite the current strained relationship between both sides, Goldberg remains a WWE Hall of Famer, having been inducted in 2018.
