Ethan Page, after a run of just over a year and a half in NXT, was officially promoted to the main roster of WWE as part of Monday Night RAW.
Page interrupted Je’Von Evans during a backstage segment with Adam Pearce, which led the General Manager to book a match between the two.
At the start of the match, Page showed his credentials against Evans, but was quickly neutralized by the young wrestler.
At one point, with both men outside the ring, Rusev appeared to attack the young talent. Rusev was seeking revenge because of the OG Cutter hit at WrestleMania 42, which cost him the chance to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship in the Ladder Match.

Evans, however, managed to avoid it and shoved Rusev into the barricade. Upon returning to the ring, he was caught by an Ego’s Edge from Page, followed by the pinfall.
Page debuted in NXT in November 2024, just a few weeks after not renewing his contract with AEW. During his time on the brand, he won the NXT Championship and had one of the longest reigns in the history of the NXT North American Championship.
His last match in NXT took place last week at the Revenge special, when he was defeated by Tony D’Angelo in a match for the NXT Championship.
