CM Punk kicked off tonight’s Monday Night RAW in Houston, Texas, ready to write a new chapter in his history of authenticity in WWE by delivering yet another impressive pipebomb.

The Second City Savior is still remembered to this day for the pipebomb he dropped in 2011, also during an episode of Monday Night RAW, where he harshly criticized Vince McMahon, John Cena, and other top WWE names.

Tonight, at the Toyota Center, the current World Heavyweight Champion opened the show, directing strong messages at TKO, Roman Reigns, The Rock, and Pat McAfee.

Starting with Reigns, Punk stated that, unlike the OTC, who is protected by TKO, he had to work hard to reach the top. Punk also said that before TKO existed, Reigns had his father and his cousin, The Rock, to pave the way for him. Taking the opportunity to mention Rock, Punk added that he is no longer even a Hollywood star.

Punk continued his impactful speech by targeting McAfee, who returned to WWE programming on the last SmackDown, aligning himself with Randy Orton. Punk claimed that McAfee, as a failed former football player, has no guts to talk about pro wrestling. Referencing McAfee’s comments about poor ticket sales for WrestleMania 42, Punk reminded everyone that McAfee’s shows and personal projects had to be sold almost for free just to draw a decent crowd.

To close his pipebomb, Punk declared that TKO should lower ticket prices for WrestleMania 42 so that all fans in Houston and around the world can watch the biggest event in sports entertainment.
